Hopewell Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome!
We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory.

What time should I arrive?

Morning Worship is at 11:00 AM and Sunday school is at 9:45 AM.

What should I wear?

At Hopewell, you will find people wearing a wide range of clothing from jeans, to khakis, to dresses or suit and tie.  Come in whatever makes you comfortable as long as it is appropriate for worshiping our Lord.  

Where will I take my kids?

We have Sunday School classes for nursery through adults.  Nursery (babies through 4 years old) is available during morning worship and staffed with a wonderful group of people who love children.  We also have Children's Church for older children.  We encourage young people to take part in our worship service but do offer nursery and children's church if needed.

What can I expect?

We purposely keep a traditional service.  We love old hymns and convention songs, but we do sing more modern songs from time to time.
We believe in preaching the Word of God.  Preaching may be loud.  It may be more like teaching at times.  All in all, we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and not a schedule or a programed service.
