What Do You Believe About The Baptist Statement of Faith?
We Believe the Baptist Statement of Faith whole-heartedly. We believe that the entire Bible is God's inspired, inerrant Word and that men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of Scripture.
The Bible is without error in its original manuscripts. The Bible is the sole and final authority for faith and life, providing encouragement, guidance, comfort, and instruction for training in righteousness.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17), (Hebrews 4:12), (2 Peter 1:20-21)
We Believe the Bible teaches that there is one God, manifest in three persons, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh.
(Deuteronomy 6:4), (Matthew 28:19), (John 1:14), (John 10:30), (2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe Jesus died for all on the Cross and was buried and rose again and that He loves the whole world and wants to save, forgive, and make all who will receive Him His very own.
We Believe man was created in the image of God by the direct act of God and did not come into being as the result of evolution. Man was created to glorify God, worship and serve Him and have fellowship with Him on a daily basis. Man fell into sin by disobeying God when Adam and Eve took of that forbidden fruit God told them not to eat.
(Genesis 1:26), (Genesis 2:6,17), (Genesis 3:17-24)
We Believe in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross provides the sole basis for forgiveness of sins and salvation which is the free gift of God's grace. It is not by man's works or personal merit that will get you to heaven but salvation is only appropriated by a person placing His or Her faith in the finished work of Christ.
The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. Those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born again and have their sins forgiven and are placed into His family as His children, are a new creature in Christ and are sealed by the Holy Ghost unto the day of Redemption, being kept by the power of God.
(Ephesians 1:7, 13-14), (John 1:12-13), (2 Corinthians 5:17), (Romans 1:16), (Romans 10:9-10), (Ephesians 2:8-9), (Romans 8:14-17), (John 10:27-29), (1Peter 1:3-5), (Acts 26:20)
What Do You Believe About Baptism?
We believe that Baptism is very important and it should be the next step after we are saved by God's marvelous grace. Jesus set the example for us when He was baptized by John in the Jordan.
Baptism does not save nor does it get you to heaven, it is just an act of obedience to Christ and shows to others that you have been saved and it identifies you with Christ. (Romans 6:3)
What Do You Believe About The Lord's Supper?
The Lord's Supper is one of the most sacred times of worship in the house of God as God's children come together to remember what Jesus did for us on the Cross of Calvary.
What Is Your View Of The Second Coming?
When Jesus came into this world the first time, He was born in Bethlehem of the Virgin Mary who had never known a man. The Holy Ghost over shadowed her womb and planted within her the seed of Almighty God. He came as the Suffering Saviour to die on the Cross for the sins of the world in order to set us free from the bondage of Sin and Satan that we might have Eternal Life in Christ. The Bible tells us that Jesus is Coming Again and the next time He comes, He will come in the air to get His bride (The Church), those who are saved by God's grace. It is what we call the rapture or to be caught up. In ( 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
The Bible tells us that "The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet The Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with The Lord."
Before the Tribulation Period takes place Jesus is going to come back to get his Bride and take us out of this ole world and take us to heaven to be with Him. Then at the end of the Tribulation Period we as the armies of heaven described in being clothed in fine linen, white and clean are going to come back with Jesus to rule and reign with Him according to (Revelation 19:11-16).
