Psalm 71:1
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
In the current age we live in there is fear, instability, and an indeterminate outlook of our society.
We need the assurance of safety and stability in our lives. When we feel vulnerable to chaos or harm, know that there is a place to go, and you will be rescued.
There is hope for the future, although it may not be here on this earth, but there is hope!
But while we occupy until He comes, we can find peace in the middle of turmoil. We can find hope in the destruction around us. We find hope in the one who gives peace that surpasses our understanding.
One way to find peace and comfort is in the local church. Making relationships with those who understand hope and while in the chaos will help you have peace.
Find a good church that you can call home and make those relationships. Get plugged into serving the Lord through the church. While doing so, you will find that peace and hope through serving the Lord.
If you do not have a church to call home, go try some churches. It may take many visits, but when you search for where God wants you, you will know when you find it.
I invite you to come be with us at Hopewell sometime. Who knows, this may be your new home!
