Fear Or Peace

In all the craziness in our world today do you fear the unknown? Do you fear economic failure, political chaos, war, and loss of security? There is so much that seems to be going wrong it's easy to live in fear if we aren't careful. If you are like me we don't like to think about all the things that can go wrong. It's so easy to become over-preoccupied with planning and micromanaging that we can lose our focus on the primary purpose God has given us. Everyday we must remind ourselves that God is in control of All the details of our lives, lest they consume us and rob us of God's peace. It's when we run out of our own ability to handle life, that we experience the opportunity to be amazed by God. God is so good in my life and at my life! We have very little control over anything, but I can trust Him! The more we trust God, the more we face each day with joy and peace. Saints, we can always glorify Him in both the good and bad that happens in our lives. It's when we trust in the Lord that He provides relief because it removes my need to be in control. It removes my fear. When we have experienced His strength, wisdom, and love that we know, He is more powerful and trustworthy than we are. Even those difficult days are faced with prayerful anticipation because it's always exciting to see what God is going to do! God's children, who are created in His image, should walk with their heart open to his goodness. God is the Author of all of the goodness we enjoy. It's when we just trust God for All things, that we have peace in the present, faith for the future, and healing from the past.
