Anchor for My Soul

"This morning I have been feasting on Hebrews 6:17-20 and how the Hebrew writer speaks of laying hold on the hope that is set before us by which he is denoting all of those many blessings we have in Jesus. He describes this hope as "An anchor of the soul" and this keeps us stedfast and unmoved in the midst of whatever may come our way in life. Thank God when we feel we are being tossed on troublesome waters, God will take care of us when we get into rough waters. He might not deliver you immediately from them, but He will see you through them. I'm so glad the Lord will never fail us, He will anchor us. There are some anchors that the Lord offers to us which will hold us in every storm, Valley, difficulty, heartache, sorrow, situation, and circumstance of life. All we have to do is reach out and grab hold of those anchors and never let them go. 
1. The Savior will be an anchor in troublesome times. I couldn't make it without Jesus everyday. For He is all I need!
2. The Scripture will be an anchor in troublesome times. The Word of God comforts us when we are sad. Consoles us when we're cast down and helps us when we don't know what to do or which way to go. 
3. The Holy Spirit will be an anchor in troublesome times. The Holy Spirit of God can take the Word of God and minister to our hearts. 
4. The Sanctuary will be an anchor in troublesome times. For its in the church house where we can worship our Lord Jesus and sing praises to Him and feast upon the Word of God as the man of God delivers God's message. 
5. His Coming will be an anchor in troublesome times. One of these days saints and it could be today Jesus will come and get His bride and we will leave this ole world and go to be with Him in heaven. What anchors we have to hold on too."
